ANALYZING THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE NUMBER OF ROOMS CANCELLATION WITH ROOM OCCUPANCY IN REDTOP HOTEL AND CONVENTION CENTER JAKARTA
Abstrak
The study was conducted to determine the relationship between the number of rooms cancel with room occupancy in Redtop Hotel and Convention Center Jakarta. In this study researchers using secondary data that is number of rooms cancel and room occupancy each day for 3 months, starting on May – July 2011. To complete this study the authors analyzed the data by measuring the average and variability the number of rooms cancel and room occupancy by day. Normality and homogeneity of variance was tested with the Kolmogorov-Smirnov and Shapiro-Wilks. For inferential statistics the authors use the Rank Spearman correlation analysis followed by t test. Based on the data held, it is known that on May and June found significant relationship between the number of rooms cancel to the room occupancy. On July found no significant relationship between the number of rooms cancel to the room occupancy.Overall obtained significant relationship between the number of rooms cancel the room occupancy at Redtop Hotel and Convention Center Jakarta.
