Abstract

This study aims to determine how internal communication is happening in the Hotel Gran Melia Jakarta and to determine how much influence the performance improved the internal communications employee Gran Melia Hotel Jakarta . The data used are primary data obtained from 40 respondents who are employees of the division of Food & Beverage at Hotel Gran Melia Jakarta . Data were analyzed using Linear regression method which will be searched in a linear relationship between two or more independent variables (the upper communication , bottom communication , horizontal communication, and communication diagonal) with the dependent variable (performance). By using a ttest on the communication obtained tcount > ttable (2.658 > 1.690). At the bottom of acquired communication tcount > ttable (3.140 > 1.690) obtained diagonal Communication tcount > ttable ( 3.346 > 1.690 ) . It can be concluded communication up, down and diagonal has a significant influence on performance. Whereas the diagonal communication there is no significant effect due to acquired tcount < ttable ( -0.631 < 1.690 ) . While the values obtained through the F test F value > Ftable ( 28.069 > 2.641 ), H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted at the significance level , so the conclusion is obtained regression model can be used to predict the influence of variables Internal Communications for Employee performance.
