The research was conducted through direct survey to visitors at TMII. Data collection was done by convenience sampling method, with the number of questionnaires that was declared feasible was 382 questionnaires. Try Out instruments was conducted for 20 visitors using Cronbach Alpha method. The statements submitted to the questionnaire are all reliably based on the Alpha-Cronbach value&gt; 0.70. The validity and reliability of item statements in the research was done by Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) method, where factor loading every statement was&gt; 0.45. The Critical Ratio of each CFA result of each construct is&gt; 0.7, so statements on the instrument meet the validity and reliability requirements.</p> <p>By using path analysis method, the research result shows that service quality has a positive direct effect to destination image, customer satisfaction and trust. Quality of service has an indirect effect on destination loyalty mediated by visitor's satisfaction and trust. Destination imagery has no direct effect on destination loyalty. The image of the destination has an indirect influence on destination loyalty mediated by visitor satisfaction and trust. Visitor satisfaction has a direct and indirect influence on destination loyalty through trust and trust has a direct influence on destination loyalty. The exintence of these cafés has added the culinary tourism choices to the people who provide various modern and traditional kinds of food. This research aims to identify the influence of product quality and location towards the purchase decision and the influence of purchase decision to the customers’ satisfaction. The data collection instrument used is questionnaire that is measured by likert scale, the number of respondents is 288 respondents who came to Cak Wanto Tent Café . The Method of analysis used is Structural Equation Model. The result of the research shows that product quality gives direct and significant influence to the purchase ecision, but does not give any influence on the customers’ satisfaction, location significantly influences the purchase decision and customers’ satisfaction and the direct decision does not directly influence the customer’s satisfaction</p> Meylani Tuti Copyright (c) 2020 STEIN eRepository https://erepository.stein.ac.id/index.php/prosiding/article/view/1613 Wed, 22 Nov 2017 00:00:00 +0000 RAPID ASSESSEMENT FOR MAPPING OF OCCUPATION WITHIN QUALIFICATION FRAMEWORK IN TOURISM SECTOR https://erepository.stein.ac.id/index.php/prosiding/article/view/1614 <p><strong>Objectives</strong> - Rapid Assessment of qualification, occupational and competency mapping in the area of ​​tourism development function is intended to develop competency standards for mapping the tourism sector as a valid guide or reference for developing instructional design, learning development and implementation and learning management, as well as development of professional certification schemes.</p> <p><strong>Design / methodology / approach</strong> - The model used in this mapping is Rapid assessment that integrates the RMCS 2006 and INQF model. The method used in this study is to identify the needs data of topurism professionals and the tourism industry, the qualification requirements and competencies of the results of the ASEAN Tourism MRA, AQRF, ASEAN Guiding Principles for Quality Assurance and Recognition of Certification System, 2016.</p> <p><strong>Findings</strong> - These rapid assessment results identify: 9 key functional areas and 18 major functional areas. There are several levels of Qualification Framework: 9 in food and beverages, 10 in food production, 5 in front office, 5 in housekeeping, 12 in tour operation, 11 in travel agent, 7 in MICE, 6 in SPA and one level 9 (a combination of hiding, catering, front office, and housekeeping). Of the 278 occupation identified, as many as 45 can be identified the competency units.</p> <p><strong>Reseach limitation</strong> - The research limitation of this rapid assessment is that there are still two key functions in the tourism sector that have not been identified, so that further Rapid assessment is required.</p> <p><strong>Practical implication</strong> - with this map of occupation in INQF, educational institutions will soon be able to develop graduates profile and instructional designs that are able to search with occupancy and qualification in industrial system, besides that industry will also get guidance in developing Individual Develop Plan for its employees, as well as for the certification body of this map will be a reference in developing the certification scheme both occupation and qualification.</p> Surono Copyright (c) 2020 STEIN eRepository https://erepository.stein.ac.id/index.php/prosiding/article/view/1614 Wed, 22 Nov 2017 00:00:00 +0000 MODEL PENGEMBANGAN ATRAKSI WISATA 5 (LIMA) MUSEUM DI JAKARTA https://erepository.stein.ac.id/index.php/prosiding/article/view/1615 <p><em>This study aims at researching the model for the development of tourist attraction in 5 (five) museums in Jakarta. Which is data was collected by simple random sampling technique to 300 tourists visiting tourist areas. The research using quantitative descriptive analysis with research method of structural equation modeling (SEM) and Amos for this structural model analysis. The study results show that for increasing the number of visitors and the development of tourist attractions in 5 (five) museums in Jakarta, such as: Jakarta History Museum, Fine Art and Ceramic Museum, National Monument, Puppets Museum and Maritime Museum. The main priority that must be developed to the visitors they are: i) the historical value of the museum ii) local socio-cultural conditions and iii) accommodation infrastructure available around the tourist attraction area to provide the tourist needs. The development of the hospitality business continues to progress and also experienced a very tide competition. Performance of a hotel can be seen based on the performance of room occupancy rate and income level. The high level of competition in South Jakarta Area, requires internal and external analysis of the company and the implementation of appropriate strategies in order to continue to be consistent leaders in the level of competition. The study was conducted by descriptive analysis. Data obtained by : field observation, interview, questioner, literature review. This study aims to: (1) know and analyze internal and external factors in the competition (2) formulate the right business strategy to win the competition. The research results suggest that the Management should expand the segmentation strategy to Goverment and MICE market by offering attractive meeting packages as well as increasing the negotiation ability for Sales Managers to be more professional. R &amp; D &amp; I became a breakthrough in tourism management that relied on creative economy. Can R &amp; D &amp; I accelerate the achievement of tourism development goals and targets with the paradigm of serenity, spirituality, and sustainability through the creative economy? This study tries to describe the importance of R &amp; D &amp; I in identifying constraints and increasing the leverage of tourism in the region. The method used is qualitative-narrative through literature study. The results of the study show that potential-product-prospect-publication or five-P potential transformations can accelerate the achievement of tourism development goals and targets.
